A Concert of Spring Music and Byrd Song

Saturday 13th April - 19:30 - 21:30Shoreham Chamber ChoirSteyning Parish Church of St Andrew and St CuthmanShoreham Chamber Choir will be singing a programme of sacred and secular music by Stanford, Pärt, Rachmaninov, Gjeilo, Duruflé Morley, Holst, Elgar and Byrd (including sections from his three, four and five part masses).
The Choir sing mainly ‘a capella’ sacred and secular music from 16th to 21st century. They were formed over 40 years ago by a group of local singers who had a mutual love of choral music. Their present conductor is James Elias, who has a particular interest in conducting small choirs and has directed the choir since 2021. They have sung at many venues locally, and toured Germany, France and Norway.
Tickets will be available at the door (£13) and refreshments will be available during the interval.
