Welcome Back – Visit Steyning
The Government ‘Welcome Back to High Streets Fund’ - which is being organised and administered by Horsham District Council - has financially supported the project that the Steyning & District Community Partnership Visitor & Tourism Committee instigated to fit in with the run up to Christmas.
It involves a quantity of beautifully designed shopping bags which advertises both Steyning and the Visit Steyning website - all to be given away to shoppers.
The bags arrived just in the nick of time for the Steyning Late Night Shopping evening, when a great many were happily handed out.
Even Father Christmas was lucky enough to receive a first edition ! Supplies will also be available from various spots in Steyning High Street during December – or until they run out! There is still a small amount of money left over within this funding pot, so it is hoped that this will be utilised within a High Street Arts & Craft Workshop event running sometime in February/March.
