Upper Beeding Primary School: KS1 Bicycle Experience

The children of KS1 were very excited recently as they were able to bring their bikes and scooters to school to launch our new topic ‘On the Move.’

The playground was turned into a road and the children had to follow the rules of the road, looking carefully at the road signs.

Great fun was had by all and the children learnt to read a variety of signs.

Lots more exciting activities are planned as part of this topic including a visit from a penny farthing, a tractor, a vintage bus and a motocross bike as well as a visit to Amberley Chalkpits Museum.
