Steyning Downland Scheme: Co-op Local Community Fund

On Wednesday the Steyning Downland Scheme teamed up with Southdown Nursery to pick up our big, fat cheques from the Co-op Local Community Fund.

Astonishingly the SDS received the magnificent total of £4,314.31, all raised through local people choosing us to receive donations through their Co-op membership card.

A big 'thank you' to everyone who bought multiple packs of Coop biscuits, just for us - and don't forget you're always welcome to join the Conservation Volunteers to burn that excess weight back off again.

Thank you too to Gemma from the Co-op for organising the whole thing. We'll be using the cash to give a much-needed boost to some new public information plans we have in the pipeline.
