Steyning C 0f E Primary School:

Getting ready for Primary School - September 2021

Starting school for the very first time is an important milestone for both you and your child. Here at Steyning C of E Primary School we are committed to ensuring that it is a positive and exciting experience. This transition begins from your very first encounter with us and we endeavour to continue this throughout your child’s journey here.

The touring arrangements for September 2021 admissions will look a little different and we outline these below.

This year, due to current Covid-19 restrictions, we are offering a virtual experience which will consist of:

1. A virtual video tour of the school. This will be available on our website late October/early November – keep an eye out for this!

2. An online presentation from the Senior Leadership and Early Years teams.

We aim to present you with all the information that you will need to inform your decision and provide you with an opportunity to ask any questions. There will be two dates for you to choose from:

Thursday 5th November at 16:00 or Thursday 12th November at 18:00.

Please contact the school office 01903 813420 or office@steyningprimary.w-sussex.sch.uk to register your interest for one of the online presentations. You will be asked to provide an email address so that we can contact you with details nearer the time.

Nothing of course quite replaces the importance of visiting the school itself, seeing us in action and witnessing how happy, motivated, and engaged our children are. We will do everything we can to facilitate this if we are able to in the future, but at present must prioritise the safety and well-being of those entrusted to our care at school.

By registering your interest now, as soon as we are able to welcome you in person, we will invite you to visit for a tour, prioritising those families who do not yet have a child at Steyning C of E Primary School.
