Message from Headteacher of Upper Beeding Primary School

'I am incredibly proud of all our children who, along with their families, have adapted so well to the current Covid-19 situation. They are adjusting to the new way of learning and have been producing some wonderful pieces of work as well as enjoying other important life experiences such as appreciating more family time, being imaginative, and spending time outdoors.

Life in school is very different, but everyone who has to be here is making the most of this unprecedented time. A special mention has to go to our amazingly supportive parents who have done a fantastic job in encouraging the children to carry on with their learning in a variety of creative ways in such unfamiliar circumstances.

It is so heart-warming to feel the real sense of community spirit where people are so willing to come together and support each other in our times of need. I know, without doubt, that with this sort of unity, we are a strong community who will get through this together. I would also like to thank all my staff for their creative, dedicated professionalism in supporting the children both from home and at school'.
