Make a difference – learn how to save a life

Would you like to have the skills to help someone who has suddenly stopped breathing?

Do you know how to use a defibrillator?

What should you do first?

Over the next few months Steyning, Area First Responders (SAFeR), a local charity which supports our local team of First Responders and provides a network of public access defibrillators, will be offering hands-on demonstrations in life saving techniques.

The first of these sessions will be held on Saturday 2 December at the Steyning Centre as part of the Steyning Arts event.

Two demonstrations will be held – one at 11.30 and the other at 14.00 – each lasts around 45 minutes.

The demonstrations are free, and provide the opportunity to practice the skills you learn. You are very welcome to come along to these – no prior booking is needed.

If you belong to a group, society or organisation in the Steyning area and would like a basic life support/ Defib demonstration, please visit our website to register your interest at:
