Green Day 2024: Calling all EV and e-Bike Owners

Mark your diaries! This year’s Steyning Festival will be bursting into life on Saturday 25th May with a fun-packed ‘Green Day’ focusing on all things ‘eco’.

This time there will be a particular focus on nature. There will be a wildlife corridor adventure for children dressed up as animals and birds, and storytellers with tales of how we can all help protect the endangered creatures in our midst.

And there will be a chance to put your garden on a Sussex-wide nature map being created by the Weald to Waves Project, led by the pioneering Knepp Estate.

Sustainable transport is a big part of the green story.

So to kick Green Day off, once again there’s going to be a parade and showcase for electric vehicles (EVs) and e-Bikes.

Are you an enthusiastic EV or e-Bike owner?

If so, would you like to take part in parade?

It starts at Fletchers Croft, loops around Tanyard Lane, and comes back via the High Street. And perhaps you would be up for sticking around to chat to members of the public and answer their questions about what it’s like owning one?
