4th Annual Steyning Beer Festival

28th to 30th September 2018

Once again the Steyning Beer Festival, being part of the Steyning Food and Drink Festival, will be hosted by the Steyning Cricket Club and jointly organised by Adur and Riverside Breweries.

It will start Friday 28th September at 18:00, Saturday from 12 noon and again 12 noon on the Sunday.

The views across the pitch with the Downs in the background make a fabulous backdrop for you to enjoy a beer or two.

Entry is FREE so make a note in your diary, we look forward to seeing you there.

We will be putting on 12 beers and 2 ciders all locally sourced at £3.80 a pint (£1.90 a half). Your non-beer drinking family and friends will be most welcome at the Cricket Club, as their bar will be able to provide a range of alternative drinks.

There will also be live music on both Friday and Saturday evenings and a BBQ for hot food.

We have a full cooling system for the racked beers so if the heat wave currently occurring as we draft this article continues, then in those lovely pink words of Douglas Adams or Corporal Jonesy: 'Don’t Panic!'

Our provisional beer line up is:-
From Adur:- Steyning Special, Happy Ever After, Ropetackle Gold and Velocity.

From Riverside:- Rambling Monarch, Beeding Best, Dirty Arthur and Tubbers Tipple.

With guest beers from Downlands, Heathen and Hammerpot and Beer in the Blood, Sussex’s
newest brewery.

Ciders will be from Seacider and Silly Moo.

Live music will be provided by the Tuck Shop Boys and Pemberton-Smith.
Richard Cook will be driving the BBQ providing us with burgers, hot dogs and wraps.
