Vintage Years: Salvation Army Talk
Friday 7th June - 13:45 - 16:00Steyning Centre, Fletchers Croft, SteyningThe Salvation Army certainly needs no introduction.This church and charity is internationally renowned and is "There when you need us". The work they do is diverse supporting young people with learning difficulties in the new Strawberry Fields Project; supporting, caring and engaging with older people; together with their Family Tracing Service helping to re-unite families.
One of our members was reunited with her brother after 40 years using this service.
The usual raffle, tea and biscuits will follow.
New or prospective members please arrive a little earlier enabling us to welcome you and find you a good seat.
Our entrance fee is £3-00. Our Annual Subscription is £8-00.
Transport can usually be organised from Upper Beeding and Steyning.
