Vintage Years: Sing Out Sister Choir.

At our Vintage Years Monthly Meeting at the Steyning Centre in April, we were delightfully entertained by the choir Sing Out Sister, helped along as an extra bonus by some talented children.

They are an extremely uplifting, refreshing choir making this a very enjoyable meeting with the usual raffle and this month a cream tea to enjoy as well!

In contrast, but just as interesting, at our meeting last month we had a talk, with slides, on the Titanic by Rob Goldsmith. Rob has personally been on a trip to the depths to see the wreck of the Titanic and his anecdotes left us all spellbound.

Our Outings are just as varied - a walk this month through the bluebells at Arlington Woods with afternoon tea, where the paths have been made accessible for everyone even wheelchairs. Then in May a trip to Heathfield Market followed by a special pub lunch. We have a programme of different entertainments and outings for the whole year.

All are welcome and getting to Steyning Centre is not a problem as we can arrange transport, if necessary.
