Upper Beeding Primary School - Harvest Festival

Children in Years 3&4 recently celebrated their Harvest Festival.

A variety of songs from the ‘Enormous Turnip’ included ‘It’s Springtime Again, ‘Oh, What a Whopper!’ and ‘Turnip for Breakfast’ were performed with a sense of fun and enjoyment with lots of actions to entertain their appreciative audience.

There were also solo performances from Callum Wheeler, Isla Kerney-Haynes, Oscar Earthrowl, Oscar Rees, Maddie Hobden and Ivy Northeast.

The teachers are extremely proud of the effort and hard work by the children in producing this harvest celebration.

The children gave two performances, one to parents and the whole school in the morning and an additional one for members of the community in the afternoon who were invited to stay and enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit served by one of the children.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Truffles for the splendid wheat sheaf they very kindly donated for our harvest display.
