Bertie will be giving a talk on "Wonder workers and the art of illusion: the history of magic"  at Steyning Grammar School on Thursday 28th June at 7.30pm. Tickets can be bought from Steyning Bookshop for £10.00

The Arts Society offer events that provide welcoming places - locally, nationally and globally - to hear excellent lecturers share their specialist knowledge about the arts.

The Society was founded in 1965 by Patricia Fay who set up The Chiltern Antiques Group. Just a few years later in 1968 eleven such societies came together to form the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies otherwise known as NADFAS.

In 2017 NADFAS was rebranded and became known as The Arts Society.

Today The Arts Society is a leading arts education charity with a global network of 385 local societies and a membership of 90,000 members world wide.

The Arts Society offers enjoyable opportunities to discover and support the arts of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
