Steyning Community Orchard. Apple Day. 7th October. 1 - 4pm FREE

Everyone, especially those with children, please bring along your apples so we can juice them for you. Bring clean plastic bottles for the juice though we will have some available for purchase. A mix of dessert and cooking apples  makes the best juice. It will keep frozen for a long time. If just refrigerated, it should be consumed within a few days of juicing, otherwishe you will be on course for making cider!

If you would like to support the SCO please bring produce for our food stall, it would be most welcome and help swell our funds.

Should thirst be a problem not only will apple juice be available. The Riverside Brewerey will be on site to provide for your needs including  cider. Our Produce Stall will be able to satisfy any hunger pangs.

Think about using our Apple Recognition stall where an expert will try and identify your apples. Always a difficult task as cross pollination is common. Most apple trees are on grafted stock to be certain of it  being true to its variety.

There will be three groups providing live music throughout the afternoon while there will be lots of activities to engage and entertain your children.

                    See you on Saturday 7th October - 1:00 - 16:00
