Parish-based Neighbourhood De-clustering Plan

Following the recent “de-clustering” of the Steyning, Wiston, Ashurst & Bramber Neighbourhood Plan project (SWAB), Steyning is now going ahead with its own parish-based Neighbourhood Plan.

Integrity, resilience and the ability to work with confidential documents/issues are also important. Members need to be able to accept differing points of view, be willing to compromise and work with others.

Helpful attributes:
•    Project management and organisational skills
•    An ability to engage with members of the public and be receptive to their views
•    Communication and negotiation skills
•    An ability to read, analyse and understand complex documents
