How clean is our valley? Join our Adur ‘clean up walk’
Saturday 14th September- 10:30

Come and join us for a family walk with a difference when we aim to pick up tidal debris from beside the River Adur and litter from alongside the Downs Link.  Help us to clean up our beautiful countryside.

It is being organised by Greening Steyning as part of the campaign to make Steyning, Bramber and Beeding ‘Plastic Free’.

The circular walk is around 4 miles in total and will take approximately 2 hours, setting off at 10.30am from Kings Barn Farm. This is at the Steyning end of Kings Barn Lane, where it takes a right-angled turn just past Kings Stone Avenue.

Walkers are encouraged to bring:-
Gloves
Water bottles
Sun protection
Stout footwear
Old large bags in which to put rubbish
Litter picking sticks if you have them

The walk offers up beautiful views of Truleigh Hill and Chanctonbury Ring. Dogs are welcome. However, although the walk is flat it is not suitable for wheelchairs, and walkers are reminded that there is at least one stile to negotiate, which they climb at their own risk!
