Gearing up for Christmas: Steyning Arts Xmas Gift Fair
Saturday 5th December - 10:00 and 16:00Christmas will soon be upon us and making the most of it is going to pose some real challenges this year, not least in the Xmas shopping department. With the Covid-19 cloud still hanging over us, are you dreading the prospect of heading into town to join the annual Yuletide shopping scrum?
Happily, there is a great ‘shop local’ alternative. Why not come along to the Steyning Centre on Saturday 5th December for the annual Steyning Arts Xmas Arts Christmas Fair?
You’ll find some fabulous original gifts made by local artists, craftspeople and makers, for very reasonable prices. You can buy jewellery, ceramics, cards and decorations, paper cuts, textiles, mini sculptures, and lots more. And all in a low-stress, Covid-19 safe environment.
As an added attraction, a Pop-up Art Exhibition will be happening in parallel next door in the Saxon Room. Come along to see how local artists have been directing their talents and creativity during lockdown.
So mark you dairies! The Gift Fair and Exhibition are open between 10:00 and 16:00.
Safety will be our number one priority. So we’ll be limiting the flow of visitors to make sure there is plenty of space to circulate, and asking everyone to wear masks and maintain safe social distancing.
