Beginners Yoga Workshop at Tottington Manor, Henfield

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners who would like to enjoy the benefits of increased flexibility, strength and balance as well as those who have previously done yoga.

There will be no scary, impossible pretzel shapes to contort yourself into!

And no chanting or other stuff that might seem a bit weird!

The class will cover: - Introduction to yoga – what to expect in a class.

Explore some basic postures teaching good alignment.

Options for differentiation for when a full posture isn’t possible.

Postures for strength and flexibility.

Postures to work, stretch, soften and strengthen different body parts and improve your posture.
Simple balances - Standing, seated and lying postures.


Introduction to different breathing and pranayama techniques - Deep relaxation time.
