Cheqoutz Cribbage Team

Our crib team is part of the Steyning and District Cribbage League and we have our home matches at the Steyning Cricket Club.

The crib season runs from early October to May the next year and the venues for our away matches take us to Shoreham, Lancing, Sompting and Storrington. We are keen to welcome new members and there is no restriction as to age or experience.

Singability

We meet on the second Monday of the month at 11:00 until midday at The Hub, Upper Beeding.

We would love you to come and join us and find your voice through singing.

The emphasis is on fun with hopefully benefitting your communication and confidence “after surviving a stroke or brain injury”. First session is free, £2 thereafter.

Steyning & District Good Neighbours Association

We are a local voluntary association serving the area of Steyning and the surrounding villages.

Anyone, of any age, can use our service, which is mainly the provision of a car to take someone for their medical appointment, e.g. the Health Centre, Hospital, dentist, optician etc. if they have no other means of transport and can't get there under their own steam.

Steyning Greening Campaign

We are an active and enthusiastic local group working to create a sustainable, low-carbon future for Steyning, Bramber, Upper Beeding and the surrounding area. We have launched the 2030 Project, an ambitious 10-year project to make our community one of the greenest, healthiest and most resilient in the UK.

We are on the look out for volunteers to join our four Action Groups, which focus on biodiversity, transport, energy and homes, and the green consumer agenda.

We run regular events including monthly 'Green Drinks’ talks and 'Green Books’ discussions with environmental writers.
