The Henfield Theatre Company presents The School for Scandal

by Richard Brinsley Sheridan, directed by Jerry Nice

This play is often called the greatest comedy of manners in the English language and is one of the most frequently performed of all the theatre classics. It displays Sheridan’s mastery of stage comedy, his flair for witty dialogue and his delight in satirising the pretentiousness of 18th century high society.

So, why not put the following dates in your diary and treat yourselves to an evening of 18th century comedy and be glad you live in the 21st century – or maybe not!

Performances will be on the 20th, 21st and 22nd October 2011 at The Henfield Hall, Henfield, West Sussex, BN5 9DB at 7.45pm and tickets are priced at £8.00 for elevated seating and £6.00 for ground level seating.

Tickets are obtainable from the box office at Henfield Furnishings, High Street, Henfield, BN5 9DB (telephone 01273 490080) from the 3rd October and the production has been sponsored by Wickwoods Country Club, Hotel & Spa (telephone 01273 857567)
