Storytime fundraising event at the Steyning Bookshop

Local young mother of three pre-schoolers Jenny Persson knew that raising money through sponsorship alone for the Cancer Research UK Race for Life this year would be a challenge, so she decided to fundraise by using another skill.

An interviewer for and contributor to the online literary magazine, The View from Here, she’s also an experienced storyteller and reader of children’s books, so she has offered these skills to the Steyning Bookshop who are laying on a special morning storytime session on Thursday 17th June from 10:30 - 11:30pm where she will be reading to 5’s and under.

The event is free but donations to Cancer Research are encouraged. All accompanied children are welcome.
