Steyning Methodist Church Open Morning

Steyning Methodist Church (opposite Springwells) is having an Open Morning on Saturday July 16th, between 10.30am and 12.30pm, giving Steyning a great opportunity to come and see the Church, and meet representatives of all the different activities regularly meeting here. These include Brownies, Rainbows, (now recruiting), Line Dancing, Mens Snooker Club, Mothers and Childrens Group, Lunch Club, Chanctonbury Quilters, Network, Friday Coffee Mornings, Kaleidoscope Choir and an exercise group. There is Jigsaw, a group for anyone who enjoys informal social company and perhaps live alone and a Listening Service - a non-counselling opportunity to talk and be listened to. A.A. also meet here.

The Sussex Probation Service will also be represented at our Open Day. The Hall has been refurbished by their Community Payback Steyning Methodist Church Open Morningscheme, and they are available to discuss the service their unpaid workers can provide to appropriate community groups. Come and see what they have achieved throughout our church (with before and after photographs). They would be interested to meet other potential beneficiaries of their services and discuss what they offer, and how their scheme works.

Free refreshments, tea and coffee will be available. Our hall, church and facilities can also be booked for one – off events, like birthday parties, weddings, etc.

A lot goes on here. Do come and meet participants and see for yourself. You will be very welcome.
