Steyning Festival June News

If you favour a more nostalgic form of entertainment, the Lost Railway is an intriguing compilation of archive footage of the Steyning Flyer which linked Steyning to Horsham, marking the 50 years since its closure.  Harking back even further, hand-made sets and puppets will tell the charming children's story of The Elves and the Shoemaker.

If you're more of a forward-looking sort, there are a couple of talks about artificial intelligence, which for better or worse is going to be the biggest story of the 21st century.

Towards the end of the Festival, we'll be celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday with a day of traditional Sussex food, drink and activities.  That evening we will bring the Festival to a roof-raising close with a sing-along to the other Queen.

Finally, don't miss your chance to win a deluxe holiday in Croatia, a marvellous oak sideboard from Hobjoins Barn, a giant hamper, or some restaurant vouchers in the Festival Raffle.  Tickets available from as little as £1 from the Steyning Bookshop.

Our full programme of events can be found on our website: www.steyningfestival.co.uk. Bookings can be made online or as usual from The Steyning Bookshop.
