Steyning Festival 2012 Bunting Campaign.

There are so many ways for the people of Steyning, Bramber and Beeding to get involved in the Steyning Festival, but would you have thought that making bunting was one of them?

We want to give the town a really festive look next year so we are asking as many people as possible to make bunting to add to the decorations.

It is really easy to do and we have a leaflet giving the simple instructions.

We want to use recycled old fabrics rather than buying new fabric - think old dresses, shirts, pajamas, colourful sheets or duvet covers - anything bright and cheerful.

We will supply the tape and if you would like to sew but really don’t have any fabric we can supply that too.

If you can’t sew, you might like to cut the pieces out using our simple template. You might like to work in a group and have fun sewing together!
