Steyning Downland Scheme Questionnaire Survey

As a student at the University of Exeter studying Geography and Environmental Management, local student Megan Welch has a keen interest in the natural environment and considers the South Downs an area of great environmental importance.

As a result, her final year dissertation research concerns ‘The impacts of human activity on soil quality in Steyning, West Sussex’. Her research is based in the Steyning Downland Scheme, with an aim to understand the properties of soil in the area by conducting soil tests and observing vegetation patterns.

Megan is also keen to understand the views and values of local people towards the area, in terms of what they use the area for and why they choose to visit, by conducting a short questionnaire.

If you would like to take part, please use the following link to her online questionnaire, where there are 10 multiple choice questions. www.surveymonkey.com/s/GXYNBZH. Your co-operation would be greatly appreciated.
