Steyning Country Fair: Monday 30th May 2011 11am - 3pm

The countdown is under way once again for the annual Steyning Country Fair.

As local people know, this very special street fair is an ever popular event, where we turn back the clock and experience a little of the atmosphere of Steyning as an old market town, complete with everyone’s favourite – the livestock display in the town centre car park, organised by local farmers Derek and Vicki Crush, plus rural crafts, stalls and demonstrations, together with clowns, jugglers and puppets and other entertainment for all the family.

Join children’s illustrator and author Gillian McClure for craft activities and story reading at The Steyning Bookshop. Children’s craft activities sponsored by Horsham Leisure Link will take place throughout the day just outside The Steyning Bookshop.

The High Street will feature, live bands, a street barn dance, Morris and Maypole dancers and our ever popular Brillo the Clown’s wacky shows, which altogether should make a wonderful day for all!
