Steyning Chamber of Trade Easter Quiz

The Steyning Chamber of Trade organised an Easter Quiz in aid of the Steyning Christmas Lights Appeal on Saturday 23rd April, which was held at the Steyning Centre. Around 80 people attended, with twelve teams competing. The winning team was “Where’s Gina”, with the runner up being “Accountability”.
 
A good evening was enjoyed by all, and special thanks go to Nick and Jacque Gilbrook, who were our joint question masters, Vanessa Roebuck for her time, expertise, and encouragement, Sarah at Chez Joel, who supplied the excellent lasagne on the evening, Sussex Produce Company for providing the wonderful first prize of a hamper of greengrocery and associated items, Patrick Walpole at Bunces for providing the first raffle prize, Ian Ivatt for the second raffle prize of a quality history book, and not forgetting the many others who “just made it happen”.
 
After expenses, around £850 was raised, to go towards the Steyning Christmas Lights, 2011.
