Steyning Camera Club

Steyning Camera Club was formed in 1972 and is one of the most friendly, forward thinking and lively camera clubs in the south of England. The programme of activities include practical evenings, internal competitions, inter-club activity and social events, including trips and a regular coffee club.

3rd March – Guest speaker George Walsh APAGB visits the Club from Winchester, with his illustrated talk entitled “Pics in the Stix”.

12th March - The Club is represented in two external competitions, the Regnum Crouch Shield DPI Competition at Henfield and the Southdown Trophy at Seaford.

17th March – Internal Club Competitions - Set subject - “Moods” & Open Digital Projection (A&B Groups). Judge: Carole Speight ARPS DPAGB APAGB
21st March - The Club is represented in an external competition, the SxPF Print Competition, hosted by Southwick & Storrington at Wivelsfield Green Village Hall.

24th March – Guest speaker Jon Baker FRPS visits the Club with his illustrated talk entitled “Every Step a Different View”

25th March – The club travels to Southwick for an inter-club Print & DPI Battle against Southwick and Storrington. Judge: Bill Wisden Hon FRPS

27th March – A display of members’ prints will be on show at the Steyning Horticultural Society Spring Show at the Steyning Centre

31st March – Guest speaker Iain McGowan FRPS visits the club from Chichester with his illustrated key lecture “In Celebration of Sussex”. Tickets available at £5 (see steyningcc.org.uk for details)

7th April – Internal Club Competitions - Image of the Year - Prints, Digitally Projected Images and Slides. Judge: Trevor Gellard FRPS
