Steyning Art Group 2010 Autumn Show

Steyning Art Group was founded in April 2000 by a group of artists who wished to meet regularly to work, discuss and exchange ideas, and lend each other mutual support.

The group is self-motivating and there is no tutor.  We currently limit our membership to 12 and new members are expected to be able to work to exhibition standard, exhibitions taking place at least once a year. We meet in the Steyning Centre on Tuesday mornings, although through the summer we have a regular programme of “Painting Out” sessions in the local area, and have been known to fit in the odd lunch or cream tea.

Although there are only 12 members we are proud of our ability to present varied and interesting exhibitions and are therefore keen when we have vacancies, to attract artists whose work is not only of a high standard, but is different from that of other members of the group.

Our exhibition this year is in the Steyning Centre on Friday 22nd October from 7.30 to 9.30pm and on Saturday 23rd October from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
