Steyning and Henfield Rotary Club

If you weren’t at our Race Night on 5th March you missed a great night out!

More than 120 people came to the Steyning Centre and helped us to raise close on £2000, well exceeding our target of £1600 for the First Responders. What’s more, there was even a chance to celebrate World Book Night as Sara Bowers from the Steyning Bookshop gave away forty copies of the atmospheric and unusual historical thriller Dissolution by C J Sansom. Sara, who is a strong supporter of the First Responders, had been chosen as one of 20,000 donors, distributing copies of their favourite books to groups of their choice. Rotary would like to thank Sara, and local business, residents and friends, for supporting the Race Night with sponsorship, raffle and auction prizes, for helping out, and most of all for just turning up and having a good time!
