Steyning and District Diabetic Club

It is with some sadness I write to you to say that our meeting on November 29th 2010 was our last meeting as the Club will then close. At least for the time being as we hope our Headquarters will possibly re-launch the Club in the spring of next year.

It has come to a point that new blood was needed on the management of the Club. The present committee has been in situ for a number of years, from the start of the Club in 1993.

I want to thank everybody for the support I have had in the running of the Club and particularly the raising of the money we have sent to HQ for research. During the years we have sent thousands of pounds.

We will hand over the list of members of the Club past and present but we hope when the new Club comes into existence, new and younger people will come forward. There are a number of Diabetics out there and more being diagnosed every day.
