Plays wanted for the Steyning Festival 2012

The Company, in association with the Steyning Festival, is looking for 6  unperformed plays (maximum length 40 mins), from playwrights in the South East, for the hugely successful Steyning Festival Theatre Trails.

The plays will be performed by professional actors as rehearsed  readings, at different site-specific venues in Steyning, as part  of the  Festival on 27th  May & 10th  June 2012.

This is the fifth year of the hugely successful Theatre Trails, a  highlight of the festival, which sell out weeks in advance. This year we are delighted that Steven Brett, the Theatre Manager of the  Nightingale Theatre in Brighton, will chair the Q&A  session at the end of the performances.

Submissions deadline is Friday 2nd  December 2011.
