Open House at Southdown Nursery

Following the transformation during the Summer break of the “Gervays Hall” with extensive building work and redecoration the Directors and Staff at Southdown Nursery in Jarvis Lane, Steyning would like to invite parents and supporters past, present and future, to see the changes that have been brought about.

The grant awarded from West Sussex County Council as part of the Sure Start scheme has contributed towards the provision of new toilet facilities and a spacious cloakroom area, a large space for creative and sensory play and a low-level work surface for children to be involved with food preparation.  Purpose-built furniture and additional quality resources have also been purchased, further enriching the children’s learning experience.  This allows Southdown Nursery to offer a truly child-centred indoor and outdoor environment, designed specifically to meet the developmental and learning needs of children from two to five.

On the afternoon of Saturday 27th November between 1pm and 3pm the Nursery will be open for visitors.  The Directors and Staff will be happy to show you what has been achieved.  www.southdownnursery.co.uk
