Norfolk Arms RFC - New Season Update
Once again, the new rugby season is upon us, and your local Rugby Club, the Norfolk Arms RFC, will be representing Steyning in the Sussex Leagues in its 18th season. Much has changed over the years since the clubs foundation in 1993, with many players coming and going, but the principles and spirit of the club remain the same – to play competitive rugby in a fun atmosphere.
This year we remain in the Sussex Intermediate League, having finished mid table in that league last season. Following the normal round of promotion and relegation, we will be playing the first teams from Shoreham, Newick, Plumpton, and other teams from Hove, Chichester, Lewes, Heathfield, Crowborough, Hastings and Bognor. It should prove to be a very competitive league yet again, and we are looking forward to our first league game on 4th September.
Here is a list of our Fixtures up to Christmas.

As usual, we are always on the look out for more players, so if anybody out there, regardless of playing ability and previous experience, fancies having a run out, you can be assured of a friendly welcome and a regular game of rugby. As we only run an adult team, the only stipulation is that you are at least 17 years old. Any supporters are also VERY welcome!
We practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm at Wiston Recreation Ground, and there are changing facilities and showers available.
