Until the Parish diary finally gets completed this is an advance advert of an event not to be missed in the 3B’s

“Saturday 5th March 10am at St Botolphs Church, a short lecture on the life and achievements of the Saint Botolph, by the author of “Botolph” Mr Dennis Pepper.

The lecture will be entitled “the holiest and wisest man in the land”

With over 1400 years after the life of Botolph the Christian faith faces serious difficulties from Paganism and other religions much the same that the Saint Botolph had to face, so what can we learn from him today?”

If you would like to buy the book that will be the bases of the lecture in advance they will be available from good bookshops soon, perhaps in one month time or so. Entitled, of course “Botolph” (ISBN 978-0-9567508-0-8.” Fr John’s copy will be available soon in church for those who are not able to buy a copy.

Please pass this on to anyone who you think may be interested, it has been sent as a blind copy to most members of the parish and others in the locality who might be interested. The morning lecture will last around 30-45 minutes with power point illustrations and then a time of open questioning is invited. Details of this lecture will be sent to press a few weeks before the event.
