Discovery Days Bring Local Partnership

Students from Steyning Grammar School will be teaming up with our local Steyning Downland Scheme in July. Come to see what they will create from 15th July onwards – expect to see sculptures, trails, artwork and much more in and around the Rifle Range.

The task for year seven is to find out what is special about the Steyning Downland Scheme.

Several local people will be involved in workshops to show the students why the area is special to them, ranging from the biodiversity, to dog walking, to the history of the Rifle Range.

Then the creative juices will flow as students respond to what they have found out. More details will be available from the Steyning Downland Scheme websitewww.steyningdownland.org once the students have finished their projects.
