Brighton Festival Fringe: The Sussex Harmonisers in Concert

“The” Male Barbershop Chorus for Sussex.

“Come on along and listen to the Band”…… the words from “Alexander’s Ragtime Band” but there is no Band, instead we sing unaccompanied in four-part harmony.

The concert will feature traditional barbershop songs, classic numbers sung in a close-harmony way and some fun songs for audience participation. If you know “Da Doo Ron Ron” and YMCA (and who doesn’t?) you can sing along with us!

Making our first Fringe appearance, under the leadership of new Musical Director Zoe Peate and Chorus Director David Ellwood, the Harmonisers are warming up for our appearance at the national Barbershop Convention at Llandudno in late May.
