Big Autumn Clothes Swap!

As a fund raising exercise, the Steyning Museum is holding their first ever Clothes Swap event on Friday, 12 November at the Penfold Hall, Church Street, Steyning.

Entry is £5 and the doors open at 6.30 p.m. with clothes (and accessories) swapping starting at 7.30 p.m.

This allows time for browsing, trying on clothes, enjoying tea/coffee and cake, and maybe gleaning ideas from one or two professional beauty and fashion consultants who will be there.

There will also be a raffle with prizes very generously donated by local shops and businesses.

The event will appeal mainly to women from 20 to 50-something, who will all have some great clothes tucked away in their wardrobes that are no longer worn, or have never been worn, or are nearly new and no longer wanted.

All un-swapped clothes will be donated to a local charity shop.

So why not go “green”, help the environment by recycling at the Clothes Swap evening – and have a great time to boot!
