Beckie Condie Wins The Regional Home Manager Shaw Healthcare Star Award.
After Beckie Condie won the regional Home Manager Shaw Healthcare Star Award in February for the care home based in Steyning, she was nominated for the National award which was held earlier this week in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. All the regional winners came together, and had an evening of dinner, Awards and dance.
Beckie won the regional award for care home manager for Croft Meadow, Steyning. Two other staff members, who also received regional winner’s recognition in February for other categories (Adam Judge - Activity coordinator and Anne Mitchell - Team Leader) also attended the evening event. The National award was presented by chief executive Jeremy Nixey and Chairman Alun Thomas. Regional Manager Martin Prince said this is why Beckie was the overall Manager winner:
‘Over the last three years Beckie has grown in stature and confidence and is now a very successful and highly achieving home manager of Croft Meadow. Under Beckie’s leadership the new building has become a warm and friendly home for all the residents. Beckie ensures through her guidance, inspiration and setting of high standards that the staff team of highly skilled, motivated and trained staff deliver the highest levels of care at all times.
Beckie is a true leader with dedication, commitment and a heart of gold’. Also the recognition of 2 other of Croft Meadow staff members who also won the regional awards shows how good the home has become.
