Ashurst Country Fair & Dog Show

A date for your diary! - Sunday 4th September Ashurst will be the place to be and if you have a dog - even better!

Each year thebeautiful village of Ashurst, with its ancient church, village school and the famous Fountain Pub is the scene for the Ashurst Country Fair & Dog Show. The Recreation Ground in School Lane with it’s stunning views of open fields and pasture land is the scene for this annual event. Dogs and their owners come from miles around to what is a really enjoyable event. It is a great family day out with lots to see and do.

There are great stalls selling everything from country crafts to home made cakes. Highlights include terrier racing, fun dog agility, archery, children’s activities and something for everyone. There will also be a barbecue, Pimms bar and beer tent plus teas and cakes served in the cricket pavilion during the afternoon.

Come along and enjoy this lovely village setting and a wonderful day out. Gates open at 12.00 noon and bring your four footed friends with you too they may even win a rosette!
